HOW WE HANDLE YOUR COVERAGE

Before Your First Visit

No Surprise Bills — Know Your Coverage First

Nobody likes an unexpected medical bill. You can verify your insurance benefits by calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card — ask about your chiropractic coverage, your copay, and whether you have a deductible.

Then bring your card to your first appointment. We’ll walk you through your estimated out-of-pocket costs before any treatment starts, and payment is due at the time of service — so there’s nothing waiting for you in the mail later.

WHAT INSURANCE MAY NOT COVER

Advanced Treatments

Some of Our Most Effective Treatments Aren't Covered by Insurance

Insurance plans — including Medicare — typically cover chiropractic adjustments, but many do not cover advanced therapies like spinal decompression, laser therapy, or NeuroMed Matrix treatment. Medicare, for example, covers manual spinal manipulation but not most other services performed in a chiropractic office.

That doesn’t put these treatments out of reach. We offer affordable self-pay rates for services your plan doesn’t cover, and we’ll always tell you up front which category a recommended treatment falls into. You’ll never find out from a bill.

You can pay by cash, check, credit card, FSA, or HSA.

NO INSURANCE? WE'VE GOT OPTIONS

Self-Pay Patients

Affordable Care Without Insurance

No insurance, or a plan with minimal chiropractic coverage? You’re not alone, and it shouldn’t keep you from getting out of pain. We offer straightforward self-pay rates — and in some cases, our self-pay pricing is actually lower than what you’d pay through insurance. When that happens, we’ll tell you and let you choose.

If cost is a concern, talk to us before you put off care. We’ll work with you to find an approach that fits your budget.

Insurance Questions, Answered

frequently asked questions

Q1: Do you accept Medicare?

Yes. Medicare covers chiropractic adjustments (manual spinal manipulation), and you may have a copay when you get an adjustment, depending on your plan. Medicare does not cover exams, X-rays ordered by a chiropractor, or advanced therapies like spinal decompression or laser therapy — for those services, we offer self-pay rates and will explain your costs before treatment.

The fastest way is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your chiropractic benefits. If you can’t get a clear answer, call or email our office — we’ll help you make sense of your benefits and go over your estimated costs before any treatment begins.

Call us at (781) 635-9697. Participation changes, and even if we don’t accept your plan, our self-pay rates keep care affordable.

Yes. We accept cash, check, credit cards, flexible spending account (FSA) cards, and health savings account (HSA) payments.

Payment is due at the time of service. Because we review your estimated costs with you first, there are no surprise bills afterward.
